To help accelerate employer action to close the gender pay gap, Parliament recently passed the Workplace Gender Equality Amendment (Closing the Gender Pay Gap) Act 2023. Among the changes being introduced, organisations with more than 100 employees will for the first time be required to provide WGEA’s gender equality reports to their board, and WGEA will publish employer gender pay gaps in early 2024.
Join Mary and a director panel for a discussion on what this means for boards and their organisations.
The webinar will cover:
- WGEA reforms: what’s changing, when and why?
- What boards need to know: guidance on how to prepare and questions for directors to be asking of management now.
- Why does this matter? Gender equality in the ESG landscape.
This session will equip directors with information on this new board-level reporting, and ensuring organisations have appropriate systems and processes in place to drive progress towards pay parity.
