From hospital to corporate corridors the career path of the new Queensland Division director, Dr Jane Wilson, has been diverse.
Working life commenced 20 years ago as a doctor at the Repatriation General Teaching Hospital in Brisbane.
After medical stints in London and Boston, she entered corporate corridors armed with an MBA from Harvard Business School to pursue her interest in venture capital and the commercialisation of medical research and biotechnology.
Experience in an impressive list of workplaces followed with positions at McKinsey & Co, Macquarie Bank, and Wilson HTM Stockbrokers.
Based in Brisbane, Jane Wilson is now a full-time director holding the position of chairman of Horticulture Australia, and director at IMBcom, Bligh Ventures, Nature Australia, Brisbane RiverFestival, the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust, and the National Archives of Australia advisory board.
