Global digitalisation software company, Intelledox has appointed former Atlassian executive, John Bruce Smith GAICD, as its chief financial officer (CFO).
In this newly-created role, Bruce Smith will focus on financially managing Intelledox’s growth and preparing the Canberra-based company for further investment.
A chartered accountant with over 30 years of global financial management experience, Bruce-Smith held the CFO position at Atlassian Software between 2006 and 2011. During this period, Atlassian grew from $10 million turnover with 50 people in two offices to $110 million turnover with 500 people in six locations.
Internationally recognised biomedical engineering and sleep-disorder expert, Professor Philip de Chazal, has been appointed ResMed Chair in biomedical engineering at the University of Sydney.
Professor de Chazal will lead the University’s research and educational activities in biomedical engineering, working across the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies and the newly established Charles Perkins Centre.
His work at the University of Sydney will focus on the application and development of systems and technologies to improve early recognition, diagnosis and treatment of sleep-disordered breathing.
