Jo Willoughby GAICD

Jo Willoughby is an experienced leader in board governance, executive management, and transformational leadership across diverse industries. Skilled in navigating complex and highly regulated service environments, Jo is an accomplished Chair, Non-Executive Director, and CEO, with experience spanning ASX-listed companies, family enterprises, government-owned entities, and not for profit organisations.


Drawing on extensive strategic and operational leadership experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments, Jo steers businesses through high-risk scenarios, delivering profitable and sustainable growth while fortifying corporate reputation through ESG practices to create enduring value. Her vast governance experience encompasses a wide spectrum, including pre-IPO, M&A activities, capital raises, divestments, business separation, ownership transition, shareholder engagement, board and CEO succession, remuneration strategy, as well as technology, and digital transformation initiatives.

Currently serving as Executive Chair (Interim CEO) at insignia, a leading provider of labelling, coding, and data capture solutions across FMCG supply chains, Jo is transitioning the business to new owners. She is a Non-Executive Director at AVADA Group Limited (ASX: AVD), an integrated traffic management business with more than 2,000 employees across Australia and New Zealand, where she is Chair, People and Remuneration Committee.

In addition to her governance board roles, Jo serves as an Advisory Board Member at Toustone, a leading data intelligence and ESG reporting platform, and TMG, a global leader in IT and asset management solutions.

Jo holds a Master of Laws in Enterprise Governance, a Bachelor of Business, and specialised credentials in sustainability leadership, corporate responsibility, and change management. She is also Graduate of the AICD's Company Directors Course.
