Deborah Wilson

Shareholder / Head of Leadership Strategy & Consulting

The voice of experience, Deborah Wilson shares her outstanding business and personal wisdom from a lifetime of negotiating her own businesses, guiding Australian leaders and partnering with their organisations.

Supporting individuals from cradle to grave, Deborah takes an active interest in board and executive careers and development and is often heard saying ‘executives don’t invest enough in themselves’, along with ‘it is all about your career currency’. She is passionate about the future of work, the speed at which it is changing, the impacts on people and business.

And she has invested in herself. She has viewed life from the seat of the Executive Chairman and CEO/Managing Director of a publicly listed organisation navigating the GFC, contributed to the community in a variety of ways leading to multiple board positions and continues her passion for farming through family dairy farming interests.

Deborah is a Shareholder and Executive in OnTalent – a Brisbane Headquartered boutique Talent Advisory organisation, specializing in careers and transitions, leadership development and executive recruitment. The holder of a Masters in Organisational Leadership, she is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Member of WoB and AHRI. An avid reader, snow skier and traveller, Deborah has walked the Kokoda track in PNG, scaled off the beaten paths around the Great Wall of China, and supported the build of an ‘80%-to-scale’ Spitfire with her husband (engineer and pilot) with whom, she flies regularly out of their Redcliffe Hanger.
