Iain Summers is a Darwin based company director, and for the past 22 years has provided consultancy and training services in governance. He has also held a number of Board appointments during that period.
He is currently the Chair of Traditional Credit Union Limited, an APRA licensed and regulated banking entity operating in twelve regional and remote communities in the NT.
He was the NT representative on the national federation of Professional Standards Councils from 2006 to 2023.
He was an accredited program facilitator for the Australian Institute of Company Directors from 2008 to 2019, and delivered Not for Profit programs, and Indigenous Governance programs. He also developed course material for those programs during that time.
He has also been the Chair of numerous Risk and Audit Committees in the NT Government, Local Government and NFP sectors in the past 22 years.
He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
