Louise McElvogue currently serves on the boards of the ABC, where she chairs the Audit and Risk Committee, and ASX-edtech Cluey Learning, where she chairs the Remuneration Committee. She is President of the AICD NSW Council, and a member of AICD advisory panels for Education and Technology.
Louise's previous board roles include Healthdirect, where she served on the Clinical Governance Advisory Group through the Covid pandemic, and listed start-ups in cybersecurity, healthtech, and fintech. She was a Trustee of Museums of History for the NSW Government and Chair UTS Advisory board for the Arts faculty and a member of the UTS Business School Advisory Board.
Louise has been a CEO and advisor, specialising in technology, strategy, and marketing in the US, UK, and Australia. She spearheaded over 30 digital transformations for clients ranging from McDonald’s to British Gas and co-led the development of the UK's first video streaming service for Channel 4 and the combined streaming service from Channel 4, the BBC and ITV. Her expertise in brand, reputation, and communications includes as a business editor and producer in New York, Washington DC, London and Sydney.
Louise was one of the three members of the Federal Government’s Convergence Review Committee, which examined media and technology regulation. She served as a Professor of Data and Digital at UTS Business School.
