Dr Judith MacCormick FAICD

As CEO and MD of BoardFocus, a highly respected board advisory, Judith advises leading companies, NFPs, and startups on how to translate what is required to set the right 'tone at the top' and enhance value contribution from the board and senior management. Judith draws upon a unique set of skills and 35 years experience as a corporate executive, academic, and chief consultant and partner with global consulting firms, specialising in governance, strategy, leadership and culture.

In these roles Judith has worked in, and consulted to national and multinational corporations across most industry sectors as well as government bodies and social enterprises, throughout Asia and Australia. Judith is a published academic and awarded university lecturer, visiting fellow with UNSW Business School, a senior faculty member with the Australian Institute of Company Directors, as well as a successful business founder and owner.

At the Board level, Judith has held a number of Board positions in Australia and overseas including as Director, Governor and Chair. Judith has a PhD and MBA (UNSW & USyd); Grad Dip Sci (ANU); BA (Soc Sci), studied Indonesian & Malay (SOAS, London U) and is a Sasakawa Leadership Scholar, Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD) and Visiting Fellow & Alumni Leader, University of NSW Business School (UNSW).
