Jennifer FRACP, FRSN, FAHMS, PhD is a Rhodes Scholar, practising physician, University Professor, incoming Chair and President of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and elected Councillor of the University of Newcastle. She has been a medicines advisor to State, Federal and NZ Governments with 20 years' experience on Government committees guiding pharmaceutical regulatory, procurement and reimbursement policy.


Jen is Director of the newly established University of Newcastle’s Centre for Drug Repurposing and Medicines Research, Director of an NHMRC-funded Centre for Research Excellence and directs the NSW Government's Clinical Cannabis Medicines Program. She has significant G8 University School Executive and Hospital Council experience. She is had several Ministerial appointments to Government policy committees and recently stepped down Secretary of NSW Branch of Rhodes Scholars Australia.
