David is a partner in KPMG’s Restructuring Services team and has over 16 years of experience advising stakeholders across a wide range of engagements including lender advisory services, company-side restructuring and insolvency.
David has led multiple engagements advising both lenders and companies through complex restructurings and deal situations, typically in an ASX environment. Some of these include :
- Lead adviser to a syndicate of banks in connection with a $300m exposure to an ASX-listed agribusiness.
- Lead adviser to a syndicate of lenders in connection with a $270m exposure to a national childcare business.
- Advising an ASX-listed tourism and travel business heavily impacted by COVID on the successful negotiation and restructuring of loan facilities ($100m+).
- Leading the Voluntary Administration of Jeanswest, a major clothing retailer with over 200 stores.
