Darren Lim is an academic at the Australian National University and founder and co-host of “Australia in the World ”, the country’s leading podcast on Australian foreign policy.
His research focuses on geoeconomics, the rules-based international order, technology competition, and foreign policy responses to major-power rivalry, with a regional focus on the Indo-Pacific.
He received his PhD and MPA from Princeton University, and holds Honours degrees in economics and law from Monash University. Prior to his postgraduate studies he worked at the law firm King & Wood Mallesons, as Associate to the Chief Justice of the Federal Court of Australia, and as a researcher at the International Crisis Group in Brussels.
