As KPMG’s National Nature Lead, Carolin manages a multi-disciplinary team supporting corporate, financial services and government clients to embed nature into the heart of policy, strategy, investments, risk management, decarbonisation transition plans, integrated reporting, and beyond into value chains and real business transformation.
With over 20 years’ experience in global capital markets, sustainable finance, and risk management, Carolin has worked on the alignment of financial flows towards a range of sustainable development goals in both developed and developing countries.
She has been actively involved in national policy, global biodiversity accounting standard setting and reporting change and contributes to global systems change initiatives by serving as Member of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), advisor to the International Advisory Panel on Biodiversity Credits (IAPB) and BLab’s Regional Standards Advisory Board. Carolin has been lauded in ‘The Australian 2023 Top 100 Green List’ for her visionary leadership and impactful work in bringing nature onto the ledger and into economic considerations.
