Amanda is a professional company director serving on the boards of Ingenia Communities Group Ltd (ASX200 property company which has pioneered the development of lease communities in Australia), Heritage and People’s Choice (Australia’s largest mutual retail bank), Housing Choices Australia (community housing provider in four states) and UniSA Ventures (research commercialisation).
Previously, she ran a venture capital fund specialising in early-stage technology companies, held management roles in technology and finance, and worked as a Federal Treasury economist. The common theme throughout her varied career has been a focus on developing and executing product and service innovations, growth strategies and digital transformation.
Amanda has taught product innovation for the Australian Graduate School of Management and advised numerous state and federal governments on venture capital, technology and innovation. She currently chairs CEDA’s National advisory committee on Business Dynamism & Competitiveness. Originally trained as an accountant, Amanda has an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
