Allan’s experience in the Northern Territory over the past 42 years has included being the Chief Executive Officer of several Local Government Councils, including the City of Darwin, the Chief Executive of two NT Government Departments and the General Manager of a construction company that employed 700 people at its peak.
He has been the Official Manager or Chief Executive of 5 organisations during periods that they were under Special Administration.
At the moment Allan is the General Manager of the Cullen Bay Marina Management Corporation and the Acting CEO of the Tiwi Islands Regional Council.
Amongst other things, he is also the Chairperson of the NT Heritage Council, Chair of the Venture Housing Company, Chairman of Tiwi Partners (Aust) Pty Ltd and a member of the NT Planning Commission.
Allan finds time to be in a band, play polocrosse and watch the Tiwi Bombers.
