Alison Kitchen is an experienced non executive director. Alison is on the board and various board committees for National Australia Bank, Worley and AirTrunk. Alison is also Pro Chancellor of ANU and a board member for Belvoir Theatre Company, and retired as a director of Business Council of Australia in 2024.
Alison was the National Chairman of KPMG Australia and a member of the Global and Asia Pacific Boards of KPMG from 2017 to 2023. Over a forty year career with KPMG, Alison held a variety of other management and governance roles within the partnership as well as serving as External Audit partner for major ASX Companies across a range of industries including energy, mining, transport, consumer goods and financial services. Alison has significant global experience and complex transaction expertise operating in a highly regulated environment.
Alison was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia in 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies from the University of Sheffield, is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand and a member of The Australian Institute of Company Directors.
