Yasmin is a non-executive director at QBE Ltd and Santos Ltd. She serves on Santos' Audit & Risk Committee and chairs the People, Remuneration & Culture Committee. At QBE, she contributes her expertise to governance and strategy.
She is Chair of Tiimely, a digital home loan platform (formerly Tic:Toc Online), and the Digital Skills Organisation, an initiative of the Australian Federal Government's Department of Employment, aimed at accelerating the nation’s supply of technology skills.
In addition, she is Acting President of the Takeovers Panel and Chair of the Harrison Riedel Foundation, which focuses on increasing help-seeking behaviours among youth in need. She is also a member of the European Australia Business Council (EABC).
Her previous directorships include IAG Ltd, EFIC (Australia’s Export Bank), and ASX Ltd, where she served on the ASX Clearing & Settlement boards as well as the Audit and Technology Committees. She is the former Chair of Cochlear Ltd's Audit Committee and a member of its Technology and People & Culture Committees. Additionally, she formerly chaired AI SaaS platform Faethm by Pearson, which was sold to Pearson plc in 2021, and Macquarie Group’s Global Infrastructure Funds.
Before her board career, Yasmin had an extensive career in investment banking, including roles as Vice President of Deutsche Bank, Director at ANZ Investment Bank in Sydney, and HSBC in London.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University and was recognised as a Melbourne University Alumni of Distinction in 2015. A Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member (and former council member) of Chief Executive Women, she was recently awarded the Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her contributions to business and the community.
