For over 25 years, Tony has worked at the intersection of finance, sustainable development and diplomacy in Australia, the US, Europe and a number of emerging markets.
Prior to joining the TNFD in September 2021, Tony was a Senior Adviser with the World Bank Group and earlier a Partner at the strategy consultancy Monitor Deloitte through which he advised government leaders in emerging market on national reform strategy and policy settings to attract inbound foreign investment and delivery against the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He also advised a range of finance and philanthropic sector clients globally on impact investment and sustainable finance issues.
Tony began his career in Australia, first with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade as an economist and diplomat and then in Sydney with Deutsche Bank and Freehills in infrastructure development and corporate finance.
