Sarah has extensive experience in business management, governance and strategic growth and development in the family, private, franchise, not-for-profit and government sectors.
Currently Sarah is Managing Director of Cariblue, assisting businesses scale, grow and exit successfully, and is an experienced Board member.
Previously Sarah has been a Director of BforB Australia, Australian franchisor of an international business networking franchise growing businesses through referrals; chair of Enterprise Workshop, a Not for Profit focusing on entrepreneurial education; a board member of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary; a member of the Franchise Council of Australia’s Queensland Committee and other industry committees. She has also been CEO of Australia’s largest bookkeeping franchise, First Class Accounts. However, her introduction to governance and board positions before moving to Australia were as a “second-generation” director of the family’s business Best of Barbados, the Barbados National Trust and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Committee in Barbados.
Sarah has an MBA, a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy and Finance, and is a Certified Developer of Enterprise.
Sarah was the 2012 Australian Institute of Management’s Management Excellence Awards “Owner Manager of the Year” for the Gold Coast and the 2013 Queensland/Northern Territory “Franchise Woman of the Year”.
