Richard is an experienced company director, with a particular focus on technology, growth and innovation.
Richard currently serves on the boards of Aussie Broadband Limited (ASX:ABB), WiseTech Global Ltd (ASX: WTC), Australia Post, Nexus Day Hospitals Group and Salta Property Pty Ltd. He was previously the Chairman of Doctor Care Anywhere PLC (ASX:DOC), one of the UK’s largest telehealth businesses, and also a non-executive director of Quantium Group, a leading data analytics firm.
As an executive, Richard held a range of senior leadership roles in major Australian companies, and was also a corporate lawyer with expertise in mergers and acquisitions.
His not-for-profit activities cover a range of sectors, but are particularly focussed on the performing arts. He was, until its merger with Creative Australia, the Chair of Creative Partnerships Australia, the Australian Government’s primary body supporting private sector and philanthropic investment in creative industries.
He holds a BA (Hons) and LLB from Monash University, an MBA from the University of Melbourne, a PhD from the University of Cambridge, and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Monash University Business School.
