Lara Block MAICD

Lara holds degrees in Economics (Accounting) and Law and is an Accredited Specialist in her chosen field of Personal Injury Litigation. She was a director of Harris Lieberman Solicitors for twenty-three years and now contracts to that firm as a consultant.

Since November 2020, Lara has been a non-executive director on the Board of the Personnel Group, a local not for profit charity that provides assistance to many disadvantaged people in securing employment and training and in accessing necessary health and supports needed to achieve their employment goals.

Lara is a non-executive director on the Board of the Flying Fruit Fly Circus and has been their Chair since 2016. The Flying Fruit Fly Circus is the leading youth circus in Australia and a national icon. It is also a registered not for profit charity and is one of only eight federally funded performing arts training institutions in Australia, the others being the Australian Ballet, the Australian Film Television and Radio School, the Australian National Academy of Music, the Australian Youth Orchestra, NAISDA, NICA and NIDA.
