With nearly 30 years of experience in the Health, Aged, and Community Care industry, Jennene has led strategy, service design, digital transformation, and innovation. She is a Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Jennene's career includes 20 years as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Feros Care.
Renowned for her innovative leadership, Jennene has garnered international recognition for pioneering emerging technologies that enhance customer and employee experiences, as well as for developing innovative 21st-century products and service models. She was named a 2021 Global Ageing Influencer at the 9th Eldercare Innovations Awards and has won the International Award for Excellence by the International Peak Body Global Aging twice (in 2011 and 2017). In 2016, she was inducted into the Aged Care IT Hall of Fame for her pioneering work in digital transformation.
In June 2022, Jennene was awarded an Honorary Doctor of the University (DUniv) by SCU for her leadership in aged care and innovation, and in October 2022, she was appointed an Honorary Adjunct Senior Teaching Fellow at Bond University.
Jennene serves as a Director of the Aged Care IT Council Board and is a member of Bond University's Health Innovations Board. She has also served on the National Aged Care Advisory Council and is currently a Digital Health Advisor with the Australian Digital Health Agency.
As a current Director of Enkindle Consulting, Jennene has dedicated the last two-plus years to Aged Care Reform. Collaborating with the Department of Health & Aged Care, the Australian Digital Health Agency, Primary Health Networks, State Health agencies, and Aged Care organisations, she focuses on reform readiness, digital health capability, financial sustainability, and service transformation.
