Jane’s corporate background is in financial services where she has almost 20years’ experience leading portfolio construction, risk management, and investment analysis for superannuation, membership, and not-for-profit organisations. She has a deep understanding of the financial services regulatory and governance environment.
As a practising director Jane has expertise in: strategy, policy, and risk; investment governance; restructuring and transition; and CEO succession. She is an experienced board and committee chair. Jane’s governance contribution over the last decade includes roles at Cromwell Funds Management, PwC, Australian Unity, AMA Qld, the Anglican Schools Commission, RSL Qld, Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Somerville House and the Freemasons Board of Benevolence. She is an elected member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Qld Division Council. Recently Jane completed an MBA giving her leading-edge skills and knowledge relevant to contemporary boards including advanced strategy, crisis management, technology innovation, stakeholder management and entrepreneurship. Jane has specialist expertise in ESG and climate change, investment governance and board oversight of culture.
