Ivy Chen GAICD

Ivy Chen manages a team of orebody knowledge specialist geologists for Mineral Resources Limited, one of Australia’s leading mining services companies with a world-class portfolio of mining operations across multiple commodities, including iron ore and lithium.

Ivy plays a significant role in Australia’s mining industry as a member of the VALMIN Committee, the body that administers Australia’s minerals valuation code, the Mining and Petroleum Advisory Committee which advises the WA state government on safety, and was a former director of the AusIMM, the body representing mining professionals in Australia and internationally. Ivy is a company director in several organisations: Horizon Power, the WA government’s regional electricity company, Multicultural Futures, a non-for-profit organisation supporting migrants and refugees, Football West, and the Football Futures Foundation. In 2020 she was named in the Women in Mining UK’s biennial 100 Global Inspiration Women in Mining, and was a finalist in the 2020 WA Chamber of Minerals and Energy – Outstanding Women in Resources award.
