Geoff De Lacy FAICD

Geoff De Lacy has consulted extensively in the Corporate Governance field in Australia and Overseas for nearly 15 years. He was at the forefront of Board performance reviews and Director Performance assessments in Australia along with a handful of peers.


Geoff has presented at the AICD conferences in Shanghai, Beijing and again in Darwin. He has also spoken globally in over 12 countries.

Geoff was a member of the NSW council of AICD for 6 years and the National Accounting committee (now reporting) for 5 years. He has developed modules of the AICD Diploma, and taught it extensively both in house and publically as well as other topics. He has written 6 books, including “The Not for Profit Director” for the AICD.

Geoff has taught at a number of Universities, more recently as a guest lecturer in the Masters International HR course at Monash University.

His background includes senior executive roles with Coca-Cola USA, St George Bank, Ernst and Young and the Public Sector. He has been both National President of AHRI and CEO of a major national industry body.

Geoff is a prolific writer and has written 5 books for AICD and is featured widely in human resource journals.

He holds degrees from Queensland and Griffith Universities as well as the Company Director’s Diploma and is a Fellow of the Australian and the UK Institute of Directors and a Life fellow of AHRI, The Australian Human Resource Institute.
