Geoff is the managing director of Strategic Governance Group Pty Ltd, a privately-owned consulting business established in 2001 that specialises in corporate board and director enhancement services. Geoff has worked with hundreds of private sector, not-for-profit, indigenous and government-owned entities.
Geoff has specialist expertise in corporate entity constitution, governance framework and policy development, board and director training and performance, and strategic direction formulation. He has extensive experience in the governance of peak professional and industry bodies and government and indigenous-owned corporate entities. He has been director, company secretary, public officer and chair with a range of corporate entities.
He is currently a director and public officer of the Australian Institute of Enterprise and Business Facilitators and a member of the external nominations committee of a public company. Formerly, he was chair of the Queanbeyan Development Board and Secretary of the Eurobodalla Economic Development Board. Geoff has previously managed a business enterprise centre, group training company and a business incubator, and has experience in the horticulture and radio broadcast industries.
Geoff has worked with the Australian Institute of Company Directors since 2001, as a facilitator conducting governance education programs, tailored in-board-room governance training and briefings.
