Tim Stutt

Timothy Stutt is the Australian lead for Herbert Smith Freehills’ ESG practice and a partner in the firm’s Head Office Advisory Team.

Tim specialises in corporate governance and has over a decade’s experience helping large corporations with Board advice, market disclosure and reporting, risk management, shareholder engagement and activism, and other ESG matters.

Tim received his MBA from Hitotsubashi [phonetically: hee-tot-su-bah-shi] University in Tokyo in 2010, where he was one of 2 Australians to receive a scholarship from the Japanese Ministry of Education under their Young Leaders’ Program. Tim also has previous experience in the financial industry, having worked as an analyst on the Japanese and Global investment strategies of a San Francisco Bay Area-based hedge fund.
